As many of you are aware, on March 11, 2020 officials from the California Department of Public Health released new guidance that includes the following:
- postponing large gatherings that include 250 people or more
- social distancing of 6 feet per person
In response to recent recommendations from Little League International as well as these guidelines, District 41 is suspending all operations until March 20, 2020. This includes, but is not limited to, all games, practices and team events.
We understand that the cancellation of baseball events will be disappointing for the players, parents and family members. Local leagues will re-evaluate and communicate prior to March 20, 2020 on when and/if games will continue based on their local city / county guidelines.
We encourage everyone to follow safety guidelines as outlined by the state and local officials.
